Prophet Software
as it was then)
eight years ago
when they were
looking for an
accounts package
for their
stand-alone PC.
Since then the system
has blossomed
into an
integrated
network of a
server, 5 PC’s
and a document
control system.
There are still
one or two stand
alone PC’s but
these are
specialised for
parts ordering
direct from the
German suppliers
via an
electronic parts
control system
that they dial
into direct.
The advanced
networked system
links into their
suppliers stores
across Europe
and allows electronic
trading between
Nasus, their
suppliers and
other dealers
across the
country. This
allows a low
stock level to
be kept which
saves money
whilst ensuring
a service that
meets their
customers’
needs. The
addition of a
document control
system means
that their
customers can
rely on them to
hold the
paperwork for
their trucks as
well as having
tight audit
control. All of
this was
designed and
implemented by
the Prodeus team
and is regularly
maintained to
make sure that
the system does
the job that is
expected of it.
The long
standing, family
run company
sells and

lift trucks and
